About Tappit

Since 1991, our family has been involved in small businesses – from pubs and restaurants to cafés, coffee shops and e-commerce. We know first-hand the long hours, hard work, and commitment it takes to build something people genuinely love and keep coming back to.

Tappit was born from that experience…

Over the years, we learned that successful businesses are built on more than just transactions. They’re built on relationships, loyalty, and community – the familiar faces, returning customers, and personal connections that keep local businesses thriving.

Way back in the early 1990’s, Victor became fascinated by the emerging internet and digital technology – long before it became mainstream. What started as building websites and experimenting with online marketing evolved into a passion for helping businesses connect with customers both online and in person.

Tappit brings those two worlds together: real small business experience and modern customer engagement tools designed to help independent businesses grow loyal communities around what they do best.

And like every good family business… this one really is a family affair.

Rachel keeps everything running as Operations & Productivity Manager for Tappit (which mostly means making sure the rest of us stay organised!). Alongside Tappit, she is also a practising Nutritionist with a busy Menopause Nutrition Clinic – so looking after people is very much part of the family DNA.

Tori – our Creative Director – is a recent Fashion Design graduate from Kingston University. She looks after design, branding, social media, and basically everything that makes Tappit look good!

Jack – Tori’s partner and DCU Business degree graduate — manages business development and systems for Tappit, while working full-time in business development.

Harry is currently in his third year studying Mechanical Engineering and will soon be joining us to help grow and scale Tappit as we expand.

And finally, there’s Bobby – our five-year-old Labrador and official company mascot! He doesn’t contribute much to meetings (apart from lots of affection), but loyalty is literally in his DNA.

We’re incredibly excited to be bringing together all of our experience, talents, ideas (and age differences!) to build something we all genuinely believe in – something rewarding, useful, and fun.

And of course, there’s Victor, our digital alchemist, who probably doesn’t get nearly enough credit for quietly turning years of experience, ideas, and problem-solving into the simple, effective tool that Tappit is today!
